Throughout the Bible, Christians are encouraged to get involved in missions. Jesus famously said in his Great Commission of Matthew 28: "Go and make disciples of all nations."

With YWAM there are many short- and long-term opportunities to fulfill this commission in the Sahara region:

Short Term


A short-term missionary is one who commits from two weeks up to one year of their time to help spread the gospel. You can serve in Africa itself or at the North Africa Centre in southern Spain. More Info.

Long Term


Those interested in long-term missions give at least two years, or even the rest of their lives in ministry. With over 100 million unreached individuals in the region of North Africa, there is an insatiable need for Christians to move into the field. More Info.
